All About Drones

What are they?

Drones are one of the most advanced types of equipment in the areas of robotics, aeronautics and electronics. Drones are also called Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or UAVs. Drones are aerial vehicles and they come in a variety of sizes, shapes and with a variety of different functions. They are operated via remote control from the ground. They are most often used to execute missions that are considered to be to dangerous for a manned vehicle. Drones are often used by the military, but they are also used in variety of civilian operations. They are often used for surveillance and for rescue, weather and analysis.

Drones are known for their precision and for their ability to be stealth. They have been used to carry out important tasks. They were used to prevent terrorists attacks and to spy on dangerous criminals like Osama Bin Laden. They were also used to spy on Taliban leaders in Afghanistan. They are essential tools in the war against terrorism.

How do they work?

The construction of a drone is very important. Most drones are made of lightweight composite materials so that they don’t weigh a lot and they have good maneuverability. Being made of composite material gives the drone the ability to cruise at very high altitudes. Many drones are made with infra-red cameras and they have GPS to guide them.

Drones come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes. Some drones are small enough to be launched by hand, while other drones require a short runway to launch. The drone has two parts, the drone itself and the control system. The drone is controlled by a trained pilot or programmer. The data that is gathered from a surveillance drone is recorded to an onboard recording device on the drone. The information it gathers can be collected once the drone lands.

Drones are not dangerous, so there is no reason to be afraid of them. They do not have weaponry on them and they are not made to attack people. Drones are used by the paparazzi, so if you are a celebrity you my fear your privacy is in jeopardy if you see a drone.
